A family-owned Mexican restaurant and espresso bar in the heart of Stillwater — built on scratch cooking, warm hospitality, and food made with intention.

Cafe Mona started with a simple idea: serve real Mexican food the way it should be made — from scratch, in-house, every day — and pair it with one of the best espresso bars in town. What grew from that vision is one of Stillwater's most spacious dining rooms, a full coffee and cocktail bar, and a kitchen team that takes pride in every plate.
We are a family-owned restaurant. The same people you see in our dining room are the ones behind the line, behind the espresso machine, and behind the catering orders that head out the door for offices, churches, OSU events, and celebrations across Payne County.
Our tagline says it plainly: authenticity matters. That means house-made salsas, slow-cooked beans, scratch aguas frescas and horchata, from-scratch margaritas with fresh fruit, and recipes we would proudly serve at our own table.

Our History
From breakfast burritos and chilaquiles to enchiladas, fajitas, and house specialties, our menu is rooted in traditional Mexican cooking prepared fresh each day — not reheated from a bag.
Cafe Mona is as much a coffee destination as a restaurant. Specialty espresso with homemade syrups, scratch cold brew, horchata, aguas frescas, and from-scratch margaritas with fresh fruit bring guests back morning, noon, and night.
Families, study groups, business lunches, and big celebrations all fit comfortably in our dining room — one of the largest Mexican restaurants in Stillwater.
From office lunches and church fellowships to OSU game days and wedding taco bars, we have catered Stillwater gatherings for years — with the same scratch-kitchen quality we serve at every table.
